This leader is responsible for understanding, supporting and
following all aspects of the Horizon Air Ground Support operation
plan, including preventative maintenance and cost of effective
repair of all ground support equipment within the defined region.
Prioritizing equipment repair needs, working with department
leaders to provide adequate equipment in the field maintained in a
safe condition. Prepare and maintain department budget. Assist in
the selection of new employees, their professional and personal
growth, and communicate and promote local and company goals.
Facilitate the completion of special projects as required. Other
duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Minimum age of 18
- Adequate complement of own tools
- Previous applicable maintenance management experience
- Hands on experience with welding, painting electrical work, front
end, and brakes
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Regular and predictable attendance
- College education in related field
- Previous airline knowledge of ground support equipment
