Summary

 

The A&P Mechanic must accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on all airplanes and perform inspections as required by the FAA.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. However, evening and weekend shifts may be required as job duties demand. 

 

Travel

 

Frequent travel to other customer sites within the continental United States may be required, with a possibility for OCONUS travel. OCONUS travel may require a full COVID-19 vaccination.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • Minimum of six years of aircraft-related experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions. Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations, IPC and ATA codes.

 

 Preferred Education and Experience

  • Prior project management experience.
  • Prior training experience on aircraft mechanical systems.
  • Avionics or electrical experience.
  • King Air and Caravan experience.

 

Other Hiring Requirements 

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a background investigation.
  •  Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
  • Must be able to obtain a passport.
