Position Overview

As a Flight Coordinator, you’ll dive into a dynamic blend of customer service and operations, becoming the heartbeat of our trip support team. Under the guidance of our director of trip support, you’ll ensure each journey is not just a flight, but a seamless, luxurious experience that our clients remember.

Qualifications:  Education, Experience, & Responsibilities

A Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related fields, or equivalent experience in high-end customer service or aviation operations with a proven ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and deliver under pressure. Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation or service-related fields
  • 5-Diamond customer service experience or pilot/dispatch license

Responsibilities

Below is a list of the core responsibilities of an FC at Stratos Jets. These tasks represent the core responsibilities of an FC and will continue to evolve as Stratos Jets grows and innovates. Regardless, the FC ensures the safety and quality of our client’s flights such that Stratos Jets always provides a world-class flight experience. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of operator accounts and fleet updates
  • Handling insurance verifications, requests, and follow-ups for operators
  • Facilitating the signing of trip contracts and securing the booking with the operator
  • Collaborating with clients and air carriers to organize flight schedules
  • Collection and recording of passenger manifests
  • Verifying payment transactions
  • Arranging and coordinating concierge services like catering, ground travel, and special requests
  • Conducting safety audits for trips and ensuring the most experienced crew is assigned
  • Conducting a final review of the flight plan in coordination with all contracted service providers
  • Managing all communications related to booked flights among Stratos, its agencies, clients, operators, and vendors
  • Monitoring flights to address and resolve any issues with contracted service providers

Employment Details

Employment Status: Full-time/Exempt

Job Type: Full-time with one remote day every other week (subject to change)

Aviation Experience: 1+ year preferred

Work Location: Stratos’ Orlando, Florida office with select remote days

Note: that this position requires flexibility to work weekend hours and some night hours as required
