Description

 Immediate opening for Opa-locka, Florida based King Air PIC for a Part 91/135 Operation. Individuals must be experienced and qualified in ( type rated ) in the aircraft. We are seeking four candidates that are highly motivated, extremely organized, have worked in a previous Part 135 environment and must exhibit strong leadership skills necessary to motivate and communicate with a team of individuals.  This candidate will be responsible for conducting Part 91/135 charter flights in accordance with the company’s policy and procedures as well as within FAA regulations and guidelines. In addition, the successful candidate must be a team-oriented individual capable of providing first class customer service and care. 

  A crucial part of our Captain’s role within Alerion is the development of future company Captains and will be expected to exhibit strong leadership, mentoring and management skills with crew, company personnel and those you interact with during daily operations. When on duty maximum 2 hours from airport.20 day on 10 days off in the month. The 10 days are normally flexible and are agreed upon with the crew members.

Requirements

  • Simulator trained in the King Air within the last 24 months
  • ATP Total Time 2000
  • PIC Total Time 1250
  • Multi Engine Land 500
  • PIC in Type 250
  • Must have an ATP License
  • Must have a current First Class FAA Medical Certificate
  • Must live within a two hour driving radius of the Opa-locka airport
  • Must have zero FAA violations within the last 5 years
  • Must meet the standards for Argus and Wyvern
  • Part 135 experience (preferred)
  • Must submit to & pass with a negative result pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass a 10 year background check and Criminal History Record Check 
  • Must have a valid USA Passport, and be able to travel in and out of the country freely
  • Must have authorization to work in the USA
