QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior Experience as Part 121 Line Check Airman
  • ATP License, 3000 flight hours
  • Multi engine turboprop experience
  • Meets 121.436 PIC Requirements
  • Prior 121 PIC Experience in DCH8 preferred
  • 1st class medical
  • Able to pass full DOT background checks and initial and random drug screens
  • Physical ability to perform all job duties
  • Daily commutable distance to ANC

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • LCA report to the Chief Pilot. They must have a thorough knowledge of all aircraft systems, emergency procedures, ATC procedures and Company policies regarding operation of the aircraft.
  • Operate the aircraft safely and efficiently while maintaining a high degree of professionalism
  • Liaison with flight crew and all those encountered throughout the flight
  • Adhere to the cultural expectations of the villages and towns within the State of Alaska
  • Foster the Company’s core values and culture throughout the work environment.
  • LCA will conduct new hire and upgrade initial operating experience, facilitate initial and recurrent line checks, and assist the Chief Pilot and Manager of Training with specific company training qualifications and special track training.
  • LCA must attend all company LCA and instructor meetings.
