POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, the Private Flight Attendant and Service Standards Administrator, will ensure passenger safety and comfort while complying with Transport Canada regulations. You will deliver concierge-style services, maintain high in-flight service standards, and manage safety protocols, including HAZMAT cargo handling.

This job is based out of Victoria, BC and will work on a varied schedule based on the business requirements.

The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000 depending on various factors, including but not limited to, experience and expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety & Compliance:

  • Adhere to Transport Canada (CARs Part 604) regulations.
  • Conduct pre-flight safety checks and passenger safety briefings.
  • Handle emergency situations, including medical incidents and evacuations.
  • Ensure compliance with HAZMAT handling regulations for cargo transport.

Service & Cabin Management:

  • Deliver personalized, high-end concierge services.
  • Oversee in-flight meal service, beverage offerings, and cabin organization.
  • Have a high level of culinary ability
  • Ensure passenger comfort and manage special accommodations.

Communication & Coordination:

  • Act as the primary in-flight contact for passengers.
  • Collaborate with flight crew and ground staff for seamless operations.
  • Assist in boarding, deboarding, and baggage handling.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Regulatory & Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with Transport Canada regulations and HAZMAT handling procedures.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong interpersonal skills, high-end service experience, and the ability to anticipate passenger needs.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations.
  • Professionalism: High personal presentation standards and punctuality.

Requirements:

  • Flight Attendant Certification (Transport Canada approved).
  • 5+ years of experience in aviation or luxury hospitality.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification.
  • Valid passport for international travel.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
